Integration with Microsoft Entra for SSO
In this Help article, we will guide you to successfully provision SSO with Microsoft Entra as the identity provider.
SSO provisioning using Microsoft Entra is a five step process:
Creation of an application in Microsoft Entra: This involves creation of an enterprise application for SSO provisioning for the Cubyts platform in Microsoft Entra.
Provisioning configuration in the created application: This step involves copying the configuration details from the Cubyts platform into Microsoft Entra.
Attribute mapping: This is a key step that involves picking up the right attributes and configuration of a specific attribute titled “externalID”; this step will enable the set of user attributes to be replicated between Microsoft Entra and Cubyts.
Setting up of users: This step ensures that the right set of users are replicated (with the right set of attributes decided in the previous step) between Microsoft Entra and Cubyts.
On demand provisioning to test the workflow: This involves testing the overall provisioning workflow with a test user selected in the previous step.
Start the automated provisioning process: This is the final step that must be completed to start the automated provisioning process where user and corresponding attributes (chosen in earlier steps) will be automatically synchronized between Microsoft Entra and Cubyts.
