Flag log (Flags)

Modified on Wed, 29 Jan at 6:29 AM

Target Audience

This report is designed for Program Managers/Scrum masters and Engineering Managers/Leads who need to assess the overall efficiency and efficacy of work done by the team in the workspace.

Report Overview

The intent of this log is to monitor and track the status of system flags (likely issues or alerts) over recurring sync cycles, focusing on identifying unresolved, resolved, and recurring problems. By documenting timestamps, total flags detected, and their resolution status, it aims to provide visibility into workspace health, highlight inefficiencies in issue resolution (e.g., most flags remain open), and pinpoint persistent recurring issues (18 unresolved flags across cycles).

The Flag log report serves to

  1. Highlight Flags: Display count flags discovered in every sync. cycle.

  2. Showcase Flags Distribution: Showcase the distribution of flags across various categories, including:

    • Open flags identified in the previous cycle.
    • Flags resolved by the user in the previous cycle.
    • Flags dismissed by the user in the previous cycle.
    • Recurring flags from the cycle prior to the last one.

Data sources

  1. The report incorporates data from flags identified by the platform since the initial sync cycle.

  2. The data is continuously displayed up to the latest sync cycle.
