Here is how we determine workspace allocations, utilization, and availability for every contributing workspace member in Cubyts.
Total Workspace Hours: This represents the total relevant hours at the workspace level which includes all the active projects currently running in the workspace. The computation engine accounts for project overlaps in a workspace to avoid over or under allocation/utilization for a workspace user.
User’s Workspace Allocation: This represents the user’s overall allocation at the workspace level; the computation engine accounts for the following:
User's association with one or more active projects in the workspace (Note: user may not be associated with all the active projects in a workspace and the computation engine considers project where the user is either a Project owner or a Project contributor).
The total workspace hours as indicated earlier.
User’s Workspace Utilisation: This represents the user’s overall utilization at the workspace level. The computation engine accounts for the following:
User's utilization across the associated projects in the workspace.
- The total workspace hours as indicated earlier.
- Total Available hours: This represents the current available time based on the user's allocation or utilization limits.
