Step 1 - Go to Library > Design Metrics and click on 'Add metrics'

Step 2 - Add a new metric category

A metric category is a group of metrics that help you measure a certain type of attribute for example - Happiness can be measured by NPS, Star ratings, etc. Create your own metric category to begin. The category should depend on your type.

Step 3 - Associate it with a new framework

A framework is simply a group of metric categories that you want to put together so that your team can use it as a guiding principle to measure the outcome of your product/feature. To begin you can create a 'Miscellaneous' framework and add all new metric categories there.

Step 4 - Add description

This description will help your team understand the purpose of the new metric category

Step 5 - Associate existing or new metrics along with their metric categories

Add metrics based on your requirement, you can add as many metrics as you want to. Ensure that these point to the same metric category (for eg, all help in measuring Satisfaction).

Step 6Associate each metric with an activity you would do to measure this metric.

Step 7 - Save as a new metric category

Image: Then newly saved metric category will appear among other cards. You can even change the view to see the list metric-wise or Framework-wise

Step 8 - Use it to measure a new goal in future projects

The next time you create a goal, your metric category would show up as an option. Go ahead and pick it if it is relevant for you.

Step 9 - Add metrics to measurement cards

As and when you select the metric category, the system will ask you to add the measurement cards. Each measurement card will have the metrics you had predefined, and each metric will have the activities you had predefined in the library. You can decide upon your metrics and set target values for the same.
